The show continues to have a very good balance of serious plot and good humour. This episode reveals the story behind eigetsu, what happens to the blue ribbon gang, as well as concludes the imperial exams.

Shuurei falls sick and we see a bunch of guys all becoming idiots trying to take care of her. At least we know that Shuurei is really popular. This episode is like a filler before the next story arc, but develops every character very nicely.

The series is definitely building on its strength and improving! But anyway, this episode closes yet another story arc, and we finally find out who Ensei is. A little too rushed this episode is, but very enjoyable nonetheless.

So we learn that little bit more about Kou Kijin. Shuurei continues to work hard in the Finance Department, something that she’s very happy with. Yet Kijin remains a mysterious man with multiple masks. And if you thought that we know all the surprises of Shuurei already, Kou Reishin is introduced as Shuurei’s uncle, yet that knowledge is kept from shuurei.

The anime is starting to draw humor from the rest of the characters, rather then being dependant on shuurei, as such, it’s becoming a lot nicer to watch. A nice lighthearted show.

It’s a month later. Summer time, and the scorching sun is making people collapse. In the imperial court, Ryukki is trying to get female candidates admitted for the imperial exams.
