With all the build up from the last episode, it was inevitable that Shuga and Chagum finally meet. But I’m not so sure if it’s a lucky or unlucky thing.
Sagum’s continued conviction that Chagum is alive pays off. Together with the emperor’s hunters, it does not take them long to pick up the trail of Balsa again, through Tohya this time round.
A build up episode, with the passing away of Saggum. Without a royal heir, the whole plot would have no choice but to focus back on Chagum.
Chagum would have been a very safe container to lay an egg in, if only the royal family had known the truth about what a blessing it is. Shuga is left wondering if Chagum is supposed to be a blessing, then does the Dought sign mean that he is dead instead.
Seems that guy who recognized Balsa and Chagum is someone who has a grudge from the past with Balsa. The guy’s named Karbo, and wants vengeance, after she defeated him previously, yet left him alive. In fact, he has even switched from using a sword to a short spear. Balsa does not wish to fight, but Karbo threatens to kill the first person to pass the city gate every dawn until she fights him.
Chagum fights for what he believes in, even though he does not necessary have the strength to do so.
