Oops. I’ve been neglecting in reviewing this series. But my opinion is that the anime is really developing and improving with each episode.
I really did love this episode, and it was truely refreshing to see haruhi as a gal. Very pretty in fact. My opinion is that the anime is a lot better when it focuses and revolves around haruhi.

Tamiki’s imagination is perfect. And he really acted like an idiot in front of haruhi’s father. But just as you’re laughing at him, you can’t help liking him either. Lots of story material is fit into this episode, as can be seen by the fact that I got lazy writing the sypnosis. oops. =X But nothing was rushed. And it was really funny.
Just to say again. I do prefer seeing haruhi dressed as a gal. haha.
The anime starts with a visit to Haruhi’s house by the Host Club. Surprisingly, the house is TRUELY rundown. A really poor haruhi appears as the host. She’s poor enough that she has to use bowls and broken cups to serve tea, and together with her dad, starved for 3 days to buy sushi to entertain the guest. Everybody is horrified, and apologises for even coming, but tamaki encourages them not to waste haruhi’s efforts. But even he is traumatised, after haruhi mistakes a normal piece of sushi as ootoro.

With my domain expiring without me remembering about it, and with my work starting, haven’t been doing reviews for a week already.

This episode introduces a new characted, Takouji Shirou. Basically, he’s a 5th grader, who decides to come to the host club to learn how to please woman. But like any normal guy who goes to the host club, he soon realises that the club is made up of a bunch of weirdos.
Renge appears againt, while the host club is facing the problem of trying to figure out what kind of “character” takouji shirou should be. However, this pushes takouji shirou to the edge, and he leaves the club. Haruhi however realises that there’s probably a deeper problem facing shirou, and he seems to have problems with a specific girl.
Well, the entire host club infiltrates shirou’s elementary school and discovers that shirou actually just wants to make another girl, Kamishiro Hina, happy. well… shirou recieves intensive training from Tamaki, and the ending unfolds.

Whoa. episode 5 totally impressed me. Because of the twist I never saw coming. Maybe I was stupid, but it sure impressed me.
There are a few side scenes, like renge and the president of the black magic club.
But the main focus is on how kaoru and hikaru started up a big argument. The argument arose when haruhi made a statement with totally no ill-intent at all when made to guess who was kaoru and who was hikaru. Haruhi totally surprises them by guessing correctly, thus the twins arn’t allowed to visit her house The fight ends when haruhi says that the twins can visit her house if they stop fighting.
The animation is getting even better, in terms of variety of animation, and the way humor is presented. Like it much better this time.

What can I say… this episode was good as usual
It’s utterly gross and hilarious at the same time. It would all be perfect if the main characters were girls… but knowing that they are guys and behaving as such… EEEWwwww! Ok. I’m speaking from a guy’s point of view… maybe girls would really love it.
This episode deals with an Otaku. A FEMALE OTAKU! Houshakuji Renge, who is basically obsessed with a character from a love simulation who basically looks like Kyoya. Well.. kyoya happens to be the son of a business associate of Renge’s father, and on seeing his photo, renge promtly transfers to Ouran High
Renge fantasises herself to be Kyoya’s fiance, and takes over as the host club’s manager. Tamaki agrees, hoping that Haruhi will manage to get some female influences. Renge starts to implement all sorts of changes…. well.. I won’t spoil the jokes.
