Aye aye tedfox-sama! Ahh it’s that time of the year again. Cosfest VII got off to a great start yesterday and tedfox-sama and I were eagerly anticipating the continuation of that quality but alas, the quality of the cosplayers were relatively less than stellar. HOWEVER, they were still awesome, especially Haruhi, Dgrayman and the almighty Exia but I will get to that shortly.
After a quick lunch at burger kings (from which tedfox owes me 2 bucks for), we headed off to the Marquee, the tradition venue for this awesome event, armed with our measly little digital cameras hoping to catch a glimpse of some singapore cosplaying hurhur.
Yes, the crowd was this big and yes, my camera stinks.
Since I’m lazy, and didn’t stay all the way, I’ll just post up a couple of the prettier ones. I’ll leave the proper posting to pyoro, who i went with, and who had the full energy to stay all the way. hoho. The rest of my photos, as well as full sized versions can be caught here.
Went for cosfest at downtown east today. I think I’m getting too old for this. Cosfest is also getting too popular. The crowd was amazing. Good and bad depending on how you look at it. For me? I’d rather pay a nominal entrance fee, and have a smaller crowd. Easier to interact with the cosplayers like that. A lot of time, the contestants were also busy preparing for their performance. A pity. aha.
The only person that caught my attention was a very cute haruhi. Very young as well. But very cute. *roar*
Stayed there for around 4 hours, which was already too much for me already. There’s only so much people that I want to squeeze with. Not too many good cosplayers to look at either. Maybe mostly because I could only see the crowd. zzzz. getting too old. I thought Day 1 seemed to have more familiar faces and much better cosplayers. ah wellz.
Cute photos after the break
So I was over at the Singapore toys and comics convention like all other avid toy and manga enthusiasts. It’s pretty awesome we have something like this once in a while just to liven up our lives otherwise spent in solitude hurhur.
Nintendo was there in full blast with it’s WiiFit showcase as well as a few DS games, including the unreleased guitar hero world tour which was surprising. If ya haven’t seen that god awful DS ad, check this out on gametrailers. The wiifit booths drawn the most crowd, with kids lining up to try out that hulla hoop or soccer ball heading whatever. Having seen the wiifit balance board for the first time, I must say it’s pretty easy to cheat on it. I have seen kids get away from just wiggling their body bleh.

I will be starting a retrospective on metal gear solid in view of the impending release of the awesomeness that is mgs4 on the 12th of June, which coincidentally happens to be 10 years after the release of the original MGS on the PSX.
I started out playing the original mgs on the PC (yes I didnt have a playstation damm). It was by far the most exhilarating game I ever played at that time, ok maybe except for ff7 but I digress.
This is Pyoro here! I will be contributing to the tedfox anime blog. By a stroke of good luck, he has allowed me to unleash my terror on this blog! MUAHAHAHA (rubs hand in glee)
A bit about myself,
Singaporean,
Male (duh)
undergrad to be
anime and game enthusiast ( ya would have thought this would be self explanatory )
I realise that is a bit lacking but hey a man gotta have his privacy ya know. I cant possibly let out every otaku obsession I indulge in. (fap fap fap)
How did I change upon this blog now? Ya wouldnt believe it but tedfox is a patriotic citizen serving the great nation that is Singapore. So there I was serving the nation as a mindless drone in this unit (CLASSIFIED!!!!) when I saw this dude come in with a face remarkably similar to Konata. He had the whole shebang with the mole and height (well except for the blue hair and the obvious sex). The otaku in me went wide and begun dreaming up eroge fantasies. I was exuberating so much lust that he came up to me and I screamed KONATA! And that is how I felt in love I mean met with Tedfox.

Tedfox AKA Konata
What will I be providing to readers as a contributor? Well I have no idea, this is my first time blogging and I would like to take my pace in finding my flow.
