Once you have made the decision to purchase a vehicle, you usually have another big decision to make: whether to buy a used car or a brand new vehicle. There are a variety of things that a potential car owner should consider before taking the plunge and purchasing a vehicle, new or used. Car buyers should consider how they plan to use the car as well as how long they intend to keep it. In addition, they should evaluate their financial situation and see what choice would be best for their budget.

When researching vehicle options, start by considering the basic facts. One scary fact is that brand new vehicles lose about 20 percent of their value in the first year. If you are not planning to pay this car off and keep it for many years to come, it may serve you better to purchase a gently used vehicle from the local used car lot. The price tag will be lower and, most likely, so will your insurance premiums. However, if you are looking for a car that will last for the next 10 to 15 years, consider a brand new vehicle. This way you will be able to get the maximum lifespan out of the car, as long as you take proper care of it by getting regular maintenance at a reputable shop like a Mobil lube change center and store and using premium products like Mobil fully-synthetic oil.

Car reliability is another major factor when purchasing a vehicle. If you drive for a living and perhaps have a car allowance to work with, you may want to consider buying a brand new car. This will ensure that all the best safety devices are present and provide you reassurance that a previous owner has not used and abused the vehicle. However, if you’re just looking for a car to jet around on the weekends with, it may be a good idea to go with a used vehicle since it will cost less than a new one.

There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to purchasing a new or used vehicle. Potential car buyers just need to evaluate their options, as well as their current lifestyle and needs, before deciding which route to take. Regardless of whether you purchase a used car or a new one, it is still a major purchase and a very exciting time. So choose wisely, and enjoy the road once you have your new or new-to-you vehicle.

Kknm is having a fairly interesting event these days. Chocolate Coronet vs Melon Pan

In summary, every $30 gives you a chance to vote, as well as a shot at the lucky draw.

Here are the prizes for the Lucky Draw:
1st Prize: Nintendo DS Lite
2nd Prize: Lucky Star Nendroid Set (Konata and Kagami)
3rd Prize: 6 Months Subscription to Megami Magazine
4 x Consolation Prizes: $25 Vouchers from Nandemoya

The prizes look great though. However, I just cannot think of what I would possibly want that can add up to $30. Maybe I can buy some birthday gifts.

KKNM still owes me one preorder though, wonder if it’s here yet. It’s been delayed since months ago. In fact, the last time I promoted their event, and went for it… I didn’t get my blogger’s gift! something about out of stock. Aha. I’ll probably still go down for their event again though. Just to look see look see.

In the past, I’ve always thought that the best way to differentiate payperpost and reviewme was that payperpost worked by offering a bunch of opportunities for posties to grab, while reviewme allowed advertisers to search for bloggers that they like. Reviewme started offering a market place a while back, to blur the differences.

Well, now payperpost allows advertisers to directly approach bloggers as well!

One major difference is that while Reviewme takes up a 50% commission, PPP only takes a 10% commission, which barely just covers costs (There’s paypal costs…. credit card processing costs…) This surprised me plenty. I thought they were going to charge 30% again. 10% is really little.

You can check out their announcement post here

For me, I just really like how easy the whole system work. The blogger just adds a widget on his blog, and set a minimum cost. When an advertiser clicks on it, a form will immediately appear, allow him to enter what he wants the blogger to blog. Enter in his account detail, and the blogger soon gets an email regarding the offer. The blogger can choose to negotiate, accept, or cancel. Very user friendly interface, with no intervention from PPP. (if you’re a goon like me and couldn’t figure out how things work, check this video guide out)

Best part is immediate payment once the advertiser approves.

Just a follow up on my previous post about a scheme called review me, and to introduce a little of what Payperpost is. (...)

Just a follow up on my previous post about a scheme called review me, and to introduce a little of what Payperpost is.

Basically, for bloggers, PayPerPost is a system where advertisers pay you to review a specific website/product. The review can be good/bad/neutral, depending on the advertiser’s requirements.

Recently PayPerPost has introduced a new segmentation system where they ranked bloggers differently according to their page rank and their alexa ranking.

Generally, I thought this was a good move, because I’ve seen many blogs pop up with virtually no traffic, and their sole purpose is to post all these money earning review posts. I was kinda jealous, yet of course, I wasn’t about to sell out this blog just posting random unrelated stuff.

A good effect is that now, advertisers can offer a higher rate, and accept only well trafficked blogs. Which means higher earnings for those who keep proper blogs.

Yet low traffic blogs do not lose out, as there are still many posting opportunities from advertisers, just at a lower pay out rate. PPP’s sytem is one where advertisers post various opportunities, and you just select those you want. This is oppose to reviewme.com’s system where advertisers come to you. Reviewme’s minimum payout is also at $25, so if you’re a small blog, advertisers would unlikely come to you. (And supposedly Reviewme takes 50% of the cut, as compared to PPP’s 35%)

So all in all, I feel PPP’s system is a lot better. Although for an anime blog, there arn’t much opportunities though. Best if yours is an IT blog, or a blog about money or travel.

Oh, and it’s always good to read the FAQ if you’re just starting out new.

Disclosure is also neccessary at every post, so no hanky panky! Everybody will now you’re doing a paid post. Though the opinions you give are those of your own.

Would you like to get paid just to do a review on one of my entries?

As I’ve mentioned briefly before, Payperpost.com is offering $7.50 for new sign-ups to do a review on any of my entries. (...)

Would you like to get paid just to do a review on one of my entries?

As I’ve mentioned briefly before, Payperpost.com is offering $7.50 for new sign-ups to do a review on any of my entries. Of course, at the same time I will collect $7.50 as well. All that you need to do would be to click on the “Get Paid to review my post” button on the sidebar that’s available in every entry.

Advantage would be everybody gets money. I get feedback on my entries. You get opportunities to earn more money doing reviews. And we’re probably building up traffic to each other’s entries.

There isn’t really any secret requirements. The main thing is for your entry to stay up for 30 days, after which they will deposit that amount into your paypal account. (You can choose to have them send you a cheque too)

It’s a one-off thing. So basically you only get to review my entries once as a new sign-up. This detail wasn’t made clear enough in my opinion.

Another problem is that they don’t really tell me when I get a review of my post. (other than the money) So it’ll be nice if anybody actually does a review to leave a comment telling me that they did so. Feedback is always good right?

But for an anime blog, it is a good program to earn some money. Because most of the opportunities to review stuff are on things that are totally unrelated to anime. So unless you want to sell out your blog… You’ll be earning very little money.

increase blog traffic
