This episode focused on furthering the relationship between mayama, yamada, rika and nomiya. I feel a lot for Yamada. haha. I don’t know why. I guess now, with mayama following rika to spain, it’ll help yamada forget bout Mayama. (which would be such a waste) I guess from her shock reaction at the end of the episode, she does have feelings for nomiya that she does not want to confront. Just my guess though.
I do hope that when rika asked Haruda to wait for her to complete the spain project, she wasn’t thinking of suicide. I wonder if there’s a happy ending to all this. Happy endings would be nice, but life isn’t always that simple is it.

Everytime I watch Honey and Clover. I would always feel like crying. But at the right moment, It fills me with laughter. And somehow, I think that’s how life is most of the time. Ah. such a touching series.

And season 2 hasn’t disappointed so far. Ep 1 was just about recollation, while revealing takemoto getting his driving liscense.
Episode 2 started with a hilarious scene on how to cure hiccups, while the second part involved a story revolving around Yamada, Mayama and Riku. (no summary from me, my words arn’t good enough to express it)

Well. The second season is out this summer. So I though I’ll catch the first season first. I don’t normally watch soap operas, you know, the kind shown on tv. Usually it’s too draggy or what not. But Honey n Clover surpassed all my expectations.

(ah yes. I know that’s a image for 2nd season)
For a feel of how the style of the anime is like, here are 2 clips I uploaded onto youtube.

You know, as someone who just stepped out of adolescent and into the adult world, the anime somehow just seems to reach out to me. And even as the series focused on relationship issues, it just seemed to continue to pull at me, and making me sigh.
An anime that makes you laugh, yet cry the next moment. It’s simple in it’s development, yet every character is so complex. It’s an anime about making choices in life, and of course, about romance.
