So Renton is back to acting like a spoilt brat. It becomes quite an anguish watching the way he behaves. Good mechanic and pilot he might be, but still an immature and spoilt brat is he.

Ep 43 was quite a lovely symphony, providing more answers, yet giving as many questions to keep the intrigue. So Renton n Eureka landed on…. EARTH (duh. more specifically, japan) They are stuck on a beach, without food and water, and a cliff that they cannot climb.

Sakuya. We see sakuya in her true form
new OP and ED! Cherry Blossoms
I really do like the animation style of Eureka Seven. When the character smiles, you really do want to smile with them looking at them. And the presentation of the story is really good. The right moments to make you smile. The right moments to make your heart weep.
So many emotions that it’s hard to expressed in words.

I’ve pretty much missed many Eureka Seven episodes so far. But manage to catch ep 39 just as the world cup is on. It pretty much makes a mockery of what soccer is in a sense, but it sure was a relaxing and fun filled episode.
I pretty much burst out laughing when both renton and eureka stepped on holland’s face together during the match. Considering that I was watching the episode in the middle of a fast food restaurant, it wasn’t the smartest thing to do. But it was THAT funny.
Yup. A matched focused on soccer.
Holland orders a soccer match after Norbu says to play. Nobody has played soccer before, except for doggie and renton, and nobody wants to play. But Norbu says, so soccer it is.

In this second arc, the story further develops, yet not quite reaching any kind of conclusion yet.
Renton becomes even better at piloting the nirvash, even as eureka drifts further from the nirvash, to a point where things become weird for both renton and eureka.
The gekko-go is being fixed in a cave, yet through various mishaps, get caught by the military just as it is fixed. To make things worse, renton and eureka somehow disappeared into the depths of the caves.
While the gekko state make it out, eureka ended up suffering from an unknown ailment. Holland puts the blame on Renton, and eventually asks them to stay apart. Renton feels alienated and leaves gekko state.
Somehow he ends up joining a free lance mercenary group, whose role is to hunt down the gekko state. However, the mercenary pair, end up loving Renton as though he was their own son. However, when the truth is revealed, Renton must finally make a choice on who he wants to be with.

very good anime done by Bones.

Ep 13 is the end of the first arc, ep 14 would be having new OP and EPs.
The story so far seems to be an introduction to gekko state, what happened in the past, and a glimpse of what is to come. The last few episodes concludes with an attempt to enter the zone using the nirvash. However, gekko state encounters yet another nirvash that’s own by the federation, and a dangerous battle takes place between the two nirvash, and between the gekko-go and the federation battle air ship.
New characters are also introduced. Anaoemoe (probably wrong spelling), the pilot of the enemy nirvash. Dominique, the federation’s intelligence officer, care taker of anaoemoe, and also someone who wants to fully take care of anaoemoe.

Admittedly, it’s not too accurate to call this first impressions, since I caught ten episodes of this in one day.

Well… obviously since I watched so many episodes in a day, I found it good…
Excessive amount of time has passed since the human beings were driven from the Earth. Looking for a place to live peacefully, they finally found the Land of the Covenant. It was a desolate planet where the surface of the planet was covered by the substance similar to the coral, and there was an unknown ion called “Traver” in the air. They exploited the earth, and in order to use “Traver” effectively, they built huge towers. Under the towers, countries were built, and unifying these counties, the United States of the Towers was founded.
