Zero no Tsukaima ~ Futatsuki no Kishi Ep2
“I love you.” Magical phrase that casts a spell on another resulting in other party doing whatever you want.
Flashback to 3 years ago, where Henrietta and Wales makes vows of love together. Fast forward, Wales appears just as Henrietta is thinking of her, asking her to follow him to Albion
Thus the princess is declared princess, and our heroic zero duo is sent to the rescue. They take off in their zero, now equipped with jet boosters. Only problem is that maintainence ain’t finish, and lots of spare parts are still lying around.
Meanwhile Agnes and company are after the princess on foot. But they just prove that bullets are no match for wales’ magic.
Flying a broken plane is just asking for trouble. Lucky for them, kaypoh kirche and tabithe are around to save the day. The end up confronting wales and herientta, who now have arrived at the lake where they made their vow 3 years ago.
(scolding the pilot baka while pilot is attempting crash landing is not the smartest thing to do)
Tabithe doesn’t waste time trying to convince Henrietta that Wales is a fake. But she and Kirche are quickly defeated.
Henrietta would do everything for love. Combining her spell and wales’s spell, and by virtue of being of royal blood, they casts a hexagon spell at the zero duo. Saito blocks it, although he doesn’t look like he can hold out for long.
Suddenly, words appear in Louise’s void spell book, a dispel spell! She finally uses it to dispel the resurrection spell used to control Wales.
Ends with a lovey dovey touching scene between Henrietta and the now-dying-but-original Wales about love forever.
Thoughts
Low on humour, High on plot and pace.
But I didn’t like it that much. ZnT was never much about plot nor storyline. But with this episode, we pretty much set the setting for Louise’s and Saito’s power. (levelled up!)
I wonder what Herientta’s fans would say of this episode. She fell pretty low here, and way below expectations. I thought she would be able to resist the Wales more than that. I mean, he was so obviously fake
