Zero no Tsukaima ~ Futatsuki no Kishi Ep1
Zero no Tsukaima is back with another 13 episodes of massive tsun tsun dere dere from Louise. It definitely hasn’t lost any of it’s elements since the first season. Definitely rated PG
ZnT starts off with a bang, showing Saito flying his zero through modern japan. That’s what everybody wants to see, how life would be is Louise turned up in modern japan instead.
But nope. Just a dream. Continued from the previous season, Saito had chosen to stay with Louise over returning to modern japan. This earns him Louise’s everlasting tsundere love.
Free glasses for Saito, as a love gift from Louise. What better thing to give as a love gift than magical classes that blink when thinking of perverted thoughts looking at other girls.
Heeeee. Explosive situation.
Of course, Saito had to have perverted thoughts at the queen, causing Louise to explode right as Queen Henrietta was passing through, causing Saito to get arrested.
In the dungeon though, we see Henrietta visiting Saito. amidst all of Saito’s perverted dreams, Henrietta is seen asking Saito for help in preventing a war from breaking out.
Classic scenes of what ZnT is about.
Whipping of Saito by Louise after Agnes mentions something about Saito thinking perverted stuff with Henrietta
And of course, Agnes stumbling onto Louise and Saito in the midst of some heavy S & M action.
Thoughts
Something felt wrong, and the voicing sounded a little lacking. And some of the humour felt a little over the top to me. But I’m just being over critical. It’s still a great thing to have season 2 finally showing.
We’re rushing straight to the action already. The bad guys have resurfaced, war is about the break out, and the ZEROs (new nick for the pair) are being rushed into action.
And the classic things that made ZnT so great are still there. So it’s a lovely thing indeed.
p.s. Agnes looks like a total winner already.
