Sumomomo Momomo - ep 15
Another filler episode. Compared to episode 14, it isn’t all that bad this time round though. In fact, it was pretty funny. But I can’t wait to go back to the main story line of Momoko and Koushi!
The opening scene sees Alice the rabbit girl being attacked by a bunch of Mobs. Saigou comes to her rescue, but is knocked out very soon. However, Alice is more than capable in fighting off the mob on her own.
Alice takes care of Saigou at the central park. Saigou is all shy and blushing when he wakes up though, and soon runs away, leaving his jacket behind.
Alice manages to find out his name and school cause there was a bus pass inside the jacket though. Next day, she meets Koushi and Momoko, and with their help, tracks Saigou down.
Though Saigou has zero vocabulary, Momoko acts as a translator for Saigou, with Momoko explaining that people in love have a special connection, that’s why she can do a translation.
Saigou is obviously in love with Alice, and buys her 50 roses, and vists her at central park where she’s busking. Surprisingly, they have a reasonable conversation even though Saigou doesn’t say anything.
A chanced meeting in a bookstore the next day sees Saigou asking Momoko for help with ideasfor a date. Soon the whole gang is gathered at Koushi’s house for a brainstorming session. Even as Momoko gets a little distracted about dating Koushi instead, everybody finally agrees on a date to the amusement park.
That night, we see that Alice is actually the top assasin from the uzuki clan. However, she is on the run (for unknown reasons), and is offered freedom if she kills Koushi. Oh, and Saigou will not come to harm either.
Trip to the amusement park goes well, even if Iroha and Hanzo are working part time there. However, due to various luck of Koushi all assasination attempts fail. The fast crazy rides are making Alice dizzy. She cannot kill in front of everybody either, and finally persuades Saigou to distract Momoko for awhile.
However,as Alice drags Koushi away, she’s seen by Iroha while iroha is picking up trash. Alice succeeds in knocking out Koushi and carrying him into the haunted house. But as Koushi wakes up, he simple sees Iroha and Alice (in warrior form now) fighting it out.
However, suddenly Alice is blown aside as Momoko arrives. Alice understands that she’s no match for Momoko, but even as she deals the finishing blow at Koushi, Saigou blocks and intercept. Touching speech makes Alice stops fighting. Meanwhile, Alice’s clan mate is “arrested” by Iroha outside.
Thoughts
The closing was a parting between Alice and Saigou. It also serves as the animation of a new (probably one-time) ending song, which Alice sang at the Central park. Lyric translation can be found here.
At this this filler wasn’t the pits like last one. I actually liked Alice’s character design. She looked absolutely like a rabbit. Her seiyuu also did well I though. New seiyuu?? I couldn’t get any data on her. Mi~ka I think.
I was so hoping that Momoko will fight, but nothing happened! Such a disappointment. We’re going back to the manga next week, focusing on Momoko and Koushi, so that should be good.

The seiyuu is “Mi~ko”, the singer from MOSAIC.WAV, who did the opening theme songs of Sumomomo Momomo.
