Figurine: 1/6 Saber Swimsuit
I was actually waiting for urban attic to bring this figurine in, after the stock in HLJ mysteriously disappeared in about a week. I got a little worried when Weiye, owner of Urban Attic, started telling me horror stories of stock problems with this figurine. But it made me a happy man when stock finally came in, and went on sale together with the Mizuho figurine.
Thoughts
I usually don’t comment on the figurines, but I really like saber’s character design. When i saw the photos on happy soda, I thought that I’ve really got to get it. And I am quite happy with it. (I’ve really got to improve my photo taking… haha. Happy soda seems to be taking photos of a totally different figurine lol)
Got myself an ayu figurine in the mail today. Hope to find time to take some photos.
Saber looks to have an evil face in the third photo. Though that’s probably due to the angel and lighting.
Not evil… more like cheeky. haha.

That’s because I am. Man, I hate break it to you, but your figure is a bootleg and not a very good one. If the paint and mold quality didn’t raise suspicion (Alter’s mold and paint on thise one is very very clean), the lack of a hair ribbon on yours is a dead giveaway of an imitation. If you are happy with this one then, it doesn’t matter…though in comparison the real one would have you exploding with joy.
haha. Thanks for the confirmation, I suspected as much. Can’t do much about it now, but treat it as a lesson learnt.
