Summer Festival @ The Japanese School (Singapore)

Every year during the summer period, The Japanese School organizes a summer festival, just like those in Japan, which is open to the public. Perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in Jap culture.

Date : Saturday, 25 August 2007
Time : 6pm
Venue : The Japanese School (Changi Campus)
11 Upper Changi Road North

If i’m not wrong, there’s probably a shuttle bus from Tanah Merah MRT. It’s also accessible by Bus no. 2. Memories at the back of my mind say something about tickets. However, I do not have the full details, anybody can clarify for me? Anyway, it’s always damn crowded, so be sure to go there way early.

Feel free to dress up like a jap! Not compulsory of course. They do rent out Yukatas at the school, as well as service for helping you put it on. (it’s way tougher than it looks)

Anyway, seeing how it’s on the same day as Chara Fest, looks like I’ll go down after visiting Chara Fest? (damn, this would make for a very tiring day) Now I just need people to go with. haha.

(and you never know when you might just meet girls who are looking for summer romance =X )

By public transport, there’s bus 2 or 5. You can take bus 5 from simei mrt, and it’ll be 8 busstops

    Thanks for the information!

I was wondering if the summer festival was open to public this year, because last year’s summer festival seemed to be closed to public due to the overwhelming response the previous year…(I may be misinformed, though)

Will they be selling the tickets for entry and coupons on the day itself?

    Thanks!~

yeap… the tix will be selling on the day itself, but its gonna be a very very long queue if you go at 6pm… so try to be there early to queue for the tix… each tix is $10 which include a meal coupon and some game coupons… ^^

    Hi there!

What a lovely and cute blog! I’m also interested in Anime and cartoons so I noticed your blog displayed in PayPerPost.com

I also have plans to sign up for PayPerPost but I’m a little bit hesitant, can you give me some feedback or opinions regarding PayPerPost? Are you earning a lot? Does it really work for you? How does the process actually work? How much do you earn per post? What kind of posts are they looking for?

Hoping for your speedy reply. Thank you very much!
