Figurine: 1/8 Louise from Zero no Tsukaima
I actually got this long ago, but I never quite got the chance to post it up. Anyway, thought I better do so quickly since my next figurine is going to ship soon. Danny Choo has muuuch better photos of it though
Anyway, obviously this figurine is Louie from Zero no Tsukaima. Tsundere Magician basically describes her. (I had to upload the photos to zooomr instead, the photos might load slow or not load at all. Try right click and open image in new page instead)
Figurine wise…. the hair is faded, the face is a little too sharp to be cute. Uh… doesn’t look like the photo on its box unfortunately?
But then again, the pose is a sitting one, which offers a lot of flexibility in term. On your monitor, on your shoulder, it’s all up to you. But with the cloak and ladder, it does takes up lots of space both in width and height.
Not to mention it comes with a ladder, rare for Alter to provide something other than a flat base. The quality’s not too bad either. But it might not fit other figurines on the ladder though.
All in all… wasn’t as cute as I was hoping it to be. But nonetheless, quite a different pose and design from your normal standing up boring figurines. Satisfactory purchase.

I agree with you that the face is not cute, and a little bit different with box… but anyway the figurine itself is OK and diorama figurine is always a plus ^^

I passed on this one, but I give points to it for being a little different than the standard figure pose.

I have this as well and it’s the current figure I’m photographing. Except I keep ending up with bad photos not to mention having trouble finding a suitable location. Overall it’s an okish figure, but the face is a little too sharp and narrow.

Not too bad la… zooomr loading. I’m using too much of my server resources. (bandwidth) So no choice, had to put the images elsewhere. Hmm… next time I’ll see how
