Payperpost now offers direct approach

In the past, I’ve always thought that the best way to differentiate payperpost and reviewme was that payperpost worked by offering a bunch of opportunities for posties to grab, while reviewme allowed advertisers to search for bloggers that they like. Reviewme started offering a market place a while back, to blur the differences.

Well, now payperpost allows advertisers to directly approach bloggers as well!

One major difference is that while Reviewme takes up a 50% commission, PPP only takes a 10% commission, which barely just covers costs (There’s paypal costs…. credit card processing costs…) This surprised me plenty. I thought they were going to charge 30% again. 10% is really little.

You can check out their announcement post here

For me, I just really like how easy the whole system work. The blogger just adds a widget on his blog, and set a minimum cost. When an advertiser clicks on it, a form will immediately appear, allow him to enter what he wants the blogger to blog. Enter in his account detail, and the blogger soon gets an email regarding the offer. The blogger can choose to negotiate, accept, or cancel. Very user friendly interface, with no intervention from PPP. (if you’re a goon like me and couldn’t figure out how things work, check this video guide out)

Best part is immediate payment once the advertiser approves. :D
