Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora - ep 10
Studio TNK successfully took everything that means to be an egoistical jackass and successfully moulded it into a character named Kazuya. Quite amazing actually. This episode also continues from all the action in the last episode and bridges in preparation for a final showdown.
First thing for Kazuya, is to get the final piece, Tarurotte. Tarurotte and Soujiro puts up a good fight, wanting to protect one another, but Kazuya just overwhelms them all.
Back “home”, Kuu is working on a brand new letter invitation, without quite knowing what it was though. Setsuna herself cannot bare to answer Kuu, and soon Kazuya returns and Kuu simply throws the letter aside and rushes to Kazuya.
Meanwhile, Soujiro approaches Kyoshiro, to persuade him to fight and get back Kuu, but doesn’t quite succeed. Kyoshiro just can’t face the idea of fighting his beloved brother. Soujiro goes on to approach the morality enforcement squad though. Surprise! Soujiro was the ex commander, and they agree to help fight Kazuya, if Soujiro would come back to become their commander again.
All these while, Kazuya is preparing for the final ceremony. Tarurotte of course isn’t too happy, but Kazuya shows that his kiss absorbs mana instead, knocking Tarurotte unconscious and quiet very quickly.
Soujirou too is making his final preparations, and meets up with Himeko, and they soon combine forces, together with Mika’s cello.
Final attack! Soujiro leads the attack on Kazuya, who unleashes a full harem of steel angels on Soujiro’s group. The morality squad forms an outer ring of defence together with Soujiro, while Himeko uses the cello, their main weapon.
Kyoshiro arrives in the middle of the fight, full of purpose and vigour. However, soon all are defeated cept for Kyoshiro, Soujiro and Himeko. (duh)
Meanwhile Setsuna hears Kyoshiro’s pain and tries to fight back, and of course is quick knocked unconscious by Kazuya as well.
However, before being lead to the final position in the ceremony, Setsuna slips the horse pendant clip to Kuu, who finally remembers Kyoshiro, even as the trio charges into Kazuya’s castle.
Thoughts
Quite an interesting mix of plot, useless scenes involving an obnoxious Kazuya and plenty of cliches.
Of course, Kyoshiro plays the role of the redeemed son perfectly well, arriving at the best moment of all, although he continues to show how angsty and moody he can get.
The absolute angels were pretty much rendered totally useless by Kazuya. So I can’t see how the trio can fight him. Probably Kuu regains all her memories, somehow obtains super powers, and turn on Kazuya. Sounds random and cliche enough.
I’m just glad that Setsuna is still playing some important role. haha.

How come you left out the most riveting scene of all: Kazuya in the bath with his AAs? Lol. I guess that was one of the “useless scenes involving an obnoxious Kazuya”. Nice summary. Maybe because it remixes cliches in such a strong and sensual way, I really think this is an excellent show. At least so far.

Haha. yeah. it was a pretty pointless scene. I found it hard to say anytihng about it.
What surprised me was that all of them willingly just went into the bath with him. haha.

Man Kazuya is such a jackass. Still, I’m expecting the part where Kyoshiro will turn super-saiyan to happen in the next episode.
