Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora - ep 02

This show is made of sparkles, cherry blossoms and fanservice. I’m just very glad that I actually understood a little of what was going on this episode round. haha.

The aftermath of the last battle sees Kyoshiro going off to settle matters though he has hardly healed. Meanwhile, Setsuna gives Kuu a bath, with orders to answer all of Kuu’s questions. But Kuu only asks if Setsuna and Kyoshiro are lovers. Setsuna answers in the negative, and explains that she is not human, and the kiss she had with Kyoshiro is simply a means of subsistence for Setsuna.

Just as they are putting on their clothes though, another mecha-like person interrupts and snatches Kuu away. Oh, and yes, Setsuna fights in only her bra and panties.

It is revealed that the new mecha-like person is Kaon. Amidst much sparkles, Kaon does a presentation by projecting onto a fountain, explaining that she is an Absolute Angel, and so is Setsuna. Kaon then explains that mankind had seek to develop an indestructible angel, which resulted in the absolute angels. Then Kaon further explains that they have a lot of Absolute somethings, and gain their energy from living beings, with kissing being the fastest way of energy transfer.

Suddenly Kaon collapses, and appears to have a wound on her back that is slow to heal. The person with her, Himiko, then forces Kaon to kiss her, presenting Kuu with the first time she sees a lesbian kiss.

Meanwhile, Sojirou is seen kissing Tarurotte, the Absolute Angel Badoras who first attacked Kuu. Tarurotte doesn’t appreciate it much though.

Kyoshirou too, had set out to save Kuu, and together with Setsuna, manages to snatch Kuu back and flee on his horse.

We’re introed to Kaon’s master, Mika. Mika questions Kaon on the reason that Kuu was snatched. Kaon however, does not answer. Himiko arrives though, to accept responsibility for hindering Kaon, and is taken away by Mika for punishment in a secret room. (Punishment is unknown. But Mika uses Kaon as sex slave, and she was last seen using a whip. use your imagination.)

Final scene sees Kyoshiro asking Kuu to lend him her power amidst much cherry blossoms and sparkles.

Thoughts

So it seems the series involves 3 absolute angel and their masters.

It is a bit hard to believe that scientists can come up with such powers using research though, it’s easier to believe that it all occurred using magic. But nvm, it’s anime.

The character designs are quite cute actually, although I find the presentation overall still a little messy, especially the action scenes.

I’m slightly intrigued. Let’s see how it goes.
