Zero no Tsukaima – Ep 12
Mostly a filler episode before presenting the finale. But hey, watching LouisexSaito was interesting. Always fun to see Louise act tsundere.
oops. biased screenshots. But couldn’t help it.
Louise tearfully returns to Princess Henrietta, reporting about all that went on, but the princess does not blame her. Later, when reporting to the School’s headmaster, Colbert is seen asking for permission for an expedition to look for the dragon in Tarbes, which he is granted. Explaining all that had happened, Louise also asks about what the void is, which Osmond explains to her.
Later Louise is dressing in her room, pondering that Saito can’t possibly be legendary, when Saito walks in with his laundry. Louise gets all flustered, but Saito is his basic old self. Louise can’t understand why things seem to go back to normal after that kiss they had last episode, when suddenly her panties elastic band snaps and falls.
Whipping time! Saito gets the sudden memory of a panties band going “snap” while washing long ago, but whipping still awaits him. Pissed, Saito walks out and vents his anger on his bathing pot. There, he meets Siesta, who is all dressed to go home. There she recounts the story of two dragons, and how one of them is kept somewhere. Saito is of course interested and asks to follow her back. Meanwhile Kirche, Tabitha and Guiche overhears, and of course their interest is aroused.
Of course Louise misses Saito, and comes looking for him. Instead, she finds Saito leaving on horseback with Siesta instead. Stunned, she learns from the cook that siesta is going home to Tarbes. Louise is pissed… but recalls hearing the name Tarbes somewhere before….
Arriving at the village, Siesta and Saito end up meeting Kirche and gang. Together, they go into a cave in search for the dragon, where they seemingly come under attack. But actually it’s just colbert. And surprise! Louise is with him.
Away from the rest of the group, Saito and Louise spends some time together, with Louise insisting that she was just herer with Colbert, not following Saito. Lover’s spat.
Finally reaching what looks like a hanger, colbert starts to open it up. Saito goes over to read a nearby stone monument, which is inscribed in japanese. Surprised by the inscription, Saito is further surprised by what’s found inside the hanger, a ZERO.
Saito then surmises that Siesta’s black hair is because of her japanese ancestry. Colbert recalls that one of the zero had flown into a solar-eclipse, and concludes that the other didn’t because it missed the timing. Colbert suggests that Saito would thus be able to go home by flying into the next solar eclipse.
Meanwhile, Grand Duchess Marianne, Henrietta’s mother talks to her about the stolen letter, and reveals that because of it, Henrieta’s engagement is off. Henrietta blames herself, but Marianne comforts her, knowing the pain of losing the one you love.
Back at the school grounds with the Zero, Saito obtains gasolene from the professor, who declares that it’s undoubtly the dragon’s blood. With his rune shining, Saito seems to have no problems controlling the aircraft, something that was designed as a weapon. Meanwhile, Louise is looking from a distance, but walks away when Saito looks back at her.
But news comes that Albion, now Reconquista, has declared war on Tristein. Cromwell, Forquet and Waldo discuss that they’ll invade in 3 days, when Albion is closest to Tristein, and the day of the Solar Eclipse.
