Zero no Tsukaima – Ep 11
AWWww! So sweet. I don’t know why everybody is commenting on how Louise gets one-up on Siesta. But I just think LouisexSaito is just so sweet! Yeah! Let’s cheer them on.
Saito is moping around how he cannot protect Louise because he lost to Ward. Louise comes to comfort him, be he basically spurns all her attempts. Finally, Louise leaves, but not before telling Saito that she’s going to marry Ward.
Meanwhile, Guiche has arrived to tell Saito to hurry up, cause the ship is going to leave. But suddenly, Fouquet appears together with her golem. At the same time, Ward is telling Louise that Guiche and Saito have opted to turn back. But regardlessly, the two of them will still complete their mission.
Saito starts with cutting the golem’s arm with ease. But surrounded by rock formations, the golem is able to regenerate almost immediately. Guiche is an earth mage as well, and summons up his own mini golems, but is not a match at all. Luckily for them though, Tabitha and Kirche arrive on Slypth, and together, manage to turn Fouquet back.
Looking at the departing airship, Saito can only shout out Louise’s name in vain. Well…. the shout carries itself all the way to Louise, who’s not sure, but thinks she heard Saito calling her. On the ship, Ward once again reiterates that he’ll protect her. Louise remembers what Saito said as well, but after remembering that he asked her to shut up too, she calls him a liar in her heart, and turns to Ward telling him that she’ll marry him. Well…. Fouquet’s role is to delay Saito. After finding out from the inn keeper what Ward told Louise, it’s not hard to see that Fouquet and Ward are together.
Louise and Ward arrive at the prince’s hiding place, but are immediately surrounded by a bunch of knights. However, Louise identifies herself with the water ruby, which is paired with the wind ruby that the prince wears. In a private room, Louise passes the letter to the prince, in exchange, the prince gives her a letter meant for princess henrietta as well. Louise enquires if the princess’ letter wasn’t asking if he would go to their kingdom to seek assylum. The prince replies that there’s a group called Reconquista who is the one behind the scenes manipulating the rebelling nobles. As a prince, it would not be right for him to leave the country as such.
Just as Louise leaves the room, Ward catches her outside. After comfirming that Louise has the letter that the prince gave her, he insists that he marry her. In fact, Ward reveals that he’s part of the reconquista, and that she is crucial to them. Louise’s resistance becomes futile when another man arrives and calls her the descendent of the void, and basically casts a spell on her controlling her body. A marriage ceremony is immediately held with Prince Wales presiding over it.
As Louise’s inner self tries to break free from the spell, Saito appears in the chapel, and his scream of Louise’s name breaks the spell. Thanks to Guiche’s familar, they managed to track Louise down, since it doesn’t forget the smell of jewellery. Even as the guards rush towards Saito, and Louise tries to clear up the misunderstanding, Ward stabs Prince Wales.
But hey! what’s a show without the bad guy taunting the hero. Ward tells Saito that he is foolish, for being a commoner falling in love with a noble. With his rune shining, Saito responds that he is not a commoner or a noble, nor does he have familr or home. He is just Louise’s familar! Saito runes shines more and more, and even derflingger gets an upgrade into a shiny sword. Even Ward is surprised and backs away.
This time Saito owns Ward, and cuts through his magic, scoring a hit on Ward. Ward declares that he has achieved 2/3 of his objective. Killing Prince Wales, getting his letter, the last objective being getting Louise, but too bad. As a final move, he destroys the church they are in. However, Lousie and Saito are saved by Kirche and Tabitha.
Louise’s flashback of the childhood scene on a boat with Ward, turns into one with Saito instead. Opening her eyes, she sees Saito leaning forward to kiss her, which she does not resist at all.

I assume the blonde guy to be Cromwell, and the ring he used to be the one that Saito needs to get back. Next ep looks interesting! with Louise looking real cute, and the appearance of the “dragons”
