Saito didn’t kick butt. Louise was just an ordinary damsel in distress. All an all, an ordinary episode. In fact, everything seemed pretty rush. Next ep looks better though. Anyway, Saito to the rescue of Louise! (Completing his harlem of 3)

We start with an introduction of Count Mott, who brings a message about a thieve from the palace.

Of course, at night, Saito is doing laundry again. But he is hopeless with silk undergarments, and had to be ‘rescued’ by siesta. Bringing the laundry back, he is hijacked by Kirche again. Who offers him the golden sword for free, luring him into his room. When Saito wants to leave, he is tackled to the ground by Kirche, luckily for him, Louise arrives. The whip awaits him.

Next day, Saito is forced to wait outside class with the other familiars. Not comfortable with that, he roams around and meets the cook again. This time, he finds out that Siesta has quit, and has been ordered to work for Count Mott. Saito later finds out from his talking sword that Siesta was most probably taken to be Count Mott’s concubine.

Saito finds out where Count Mott’s mansion is from Guiche, but of course is discovered by the guards. Siesta intercedes on his behalf, and Count Mott relents, saying that there’s a treasured book he wants, owned by Kirche. Coindentally, this is the book that Kirche tried to offer him while flirting with him earlier.

Saito goes back to get the book from Kirche, but gets pissed with the flirting. He associates Kirche’s desires with that of what Count Mott is doing to Siesta. Grabbing the golden sword, he charges back to Count Mott’s house on a horse.

He is heard by Tabitha though, who tells Kirche, and together, wake Louise. They fly to Count mott’s Mansion, hoping to stop Saito, since any commoner who raises a sword in a noble’s house can be executed immediately.

Back at the mansion, this time, Saito has no power, even while wielding the golden sword. (maybe he needs louis to be around or something) Mott uses water magic, including forming ice arrows to shoot at Saito. But Louise arrives and manages to block the last one. (her magic works?!?!) In the end, Kirche saves their lives by offering the family heirloom book that Mott wanted.

So Siesta returns to her job at the academy, thanking Saito with a kiss. While Saito returns to Louise for more whipping.

Next episode, we’ll see Louise and Saito fighting an earth golem. The master does look like the academy’s secretary. I hope not. I’ve enjoyed the scenes involving her. haha.
