Oh? This episode was a plesant surprise. It was actually quite good, especially when compared to the game. Other then more touka cuteness, you’ve got all of karura’s attitude goodness, + erruru’s jealousy to spice things up

As can be seen in one of the above screen shots, Hakuoro’s harem is complete, but his party is lacking one final member. Anyway, back at the castle, Hakruoro’s entire group is having dinner. Oboro is getting fed greens by his harem, which he reluctantly eats after yuzuha makes a comment. (and proceeds to faint immediately) Meanwhile, Touka is picking at Hakuoro’s fish, to make sure there’s no poison. But her chopstick skills ain’t too good. In the mean time, a soldier brings a report about a revolt in Na Tunku. Hakuoro remembers that is where karura is from, but she has no expression.

At night, Karura approaches hakuoro in formal dress, (the ring around her neck kinds of spoils everything) She has a request, for hakuoro to assist in the revolt. She’s willing to give all, including herself. Hakuoro is unwilling to risk the entire nation, but is still willing to help Karura. Karura takes it that a contract is signed, and as part of giving herself to him, offers her own body. At this moment, erruru appears. Oops. She backs away slowly.

The next day, erruru ignores Hakuoro, but there’s nothing he can do about it. At night, Hakuoro finds himself bound and carried by Karura, who says they are off to a trip (to Na Tunku). They are stopped by Urutorii. Hakuoro thinks that he is saved, but somehow, Urutorii treats her obligations, as one to follow along. Erruru spots them too. And starts packing. On and on… it becomes his whole harem. ROAD TRIP. The rest of the guys wake up the next day in utter shock at the missing girls.

Along the trip, Hakuoro explains to erruru that he did nothing with karura. (oh really..) That solves all matters. Suddenly, they are surrounded by the rebel army, and they meet Derihourai, the leader of the Karurauatsuurei. Hakuoro introduces themselves as mercenaries here to help them, but Derihourai declines their help. Elsewhere, hakuoro asks karura what’s the plan, since her little brother has declined their help. But an old man arrives. He is Katumau, who has been helping look after Derihourai. Karura refuses to go back to reveal who she is, saying that the person Karurauatsuurei no longer exist, only a gal named Karura.

A fire is seen in the distance. THe Karurauatsuurei are being ambushed, after being betrayed. The enemy charges at Derihourai, but hakuoro’s harem is here. Urutorii displays her magical powers, while touka arrives to slash 2 soldiers. Meanwhile, behind them, karura has killed half the army.

After the enemy is defeated, Derihourai shows contempt for the traitor, even though he is dead. This earns him a gigantic punch from Karura. Karura tries to educate him about seeing things from the perspective of the weak. Words doesn’t work. So action might. And we see a huge display of karura’s powers.

The episode closes with a scene of Suonkasu (the leader), being glad that karura is coming back.

Woo. THe episode was quite faithful to the game, (except for the ero scene) It’s good to see hakuoro’s party getting more powerful. Next episode should be very interesting, because Suonkasu is a strong magical user. (Just realised my words do injustice to the humor in the episode)
