Utawarerumono - ep 13

teehee. You get eruru going ‘eh’ and ‘huh’ again. which all make for very cute scenes. heh. I thought it was pretty cruel of hakuoro to say that eruruu is like his mom. Isn’t it obvious that she likes him. And he kept sending out the wrong signals. Feels so irritating to me.
Well well. So touka survived. (duh).

The people are wondering why there is an evinkuraga amounst the enemy ranks. And whether this means that Hakuoro is evil. But Hakuoro is reminded that it is also his responsibility to rest well, as leader of the country, to prepare for emergencies.

Eruruu brings bottle of sake to hakuoro and gets teased by Karura, who declines an invitation to join them. Eruruu tries to persuade Hakuoro to rest, but instead he starts to ponder about who he is again. Suddenly, Hakuoro pulls eruru towards him asking if she is scared of him, but asks her to leave in the end. She runs away, but comes back to hug and reassure him.

Everybody is worried about where hakuoro and eruruu is. But actually Eruruu dragged hakuoro out to spend time with arurru to have fun. Hakuoro asks why she always supports him, and she reminds him that there was once where he called them family. And that’s reason enough.

kutcha-ketcha’s attack finally happens. Hakuorro brings out only his calvary this time round, despite the worries of his advisors. Kamyu is caught sneaking out with a large bag of weapons. (I can’t imagine how she can possibly use them all)

The battle itself was exciting enough. Orikakan chases after a Hakuorro who’s running away. It looks a lot like a trap, but Touka can’t help Orikakan, as hero after hero from hakuorro engages her. She ends surrounded by all 4 opposing heroes.

Once alone, hakuorro stars questioning Orikakan about his history. Orikakan reveals that he killed everybody, but Hakuorro insist that he’s just hakuorro.

oh? A twist in the story. Hakuorro isn’t just who everybody thinks he is.

The plot is beginning to build again. But I always just can’t help having the impression that it’s very similar to a computer game. (yes yes, i know it’s based on a game. but still…)
