Sumomomo Momomo – ep 04

This was truely a smack-head episode. I’ve discovered what koushi-dono’s secret power is. Total power to charm any girl… To the point where he can make Iroha go “kyuu kyuu”. That’s what I call power. Lots of fanservice too… i guess that explains the OP.

Instead of momoko, the series starts off with a bunch of thugs looking to attack the miyamoto yakuza group, which is represented by Iroha and her brother. Of course Iroha kicks ass, but even as the last thug runs away, they are confronted by their landlord. Powerless against the landlord, it is left to Iroha’s brother to negotiate a solution.

Back to Momoko…. who is gleefully cooking in the kitchen, singing about the date to the zoo. Seems that in the afternoon, she visited the bookstore looking for recipes. She accidentally ends up reaching for a book from the adult section though. Embarrassed, she at first closes the book, but ends up finding what she wants to cook from inside the adult book.

In his room, Koushi is worried about the assassination attempt at the zoo. It’s not long before Momoko calls him out for dinner though. At the dinning table, he finds a gigantic dish on the table. He closes it immediately after opening it. Over and over again. What’s inside? A naked momoko with sushi.

At night, Momoko is up to her tricks again, but finds Koushi having fallen asleep already. Then she notices that he is playing a tape that recites the laws, and he basically repeats after them subconsciously. Of course, Momoko gets the brilliant idea to stop the tape, and instead gets Koushi to repeat “I love you”. Momoko tries different phrases over again, each time getting even more excited, until Koushi wakes up just as she utters a very sexually loaded phrase, with Koushi kicking her out of his room.

In school, it’s baseball time! With Momoko pitching and Koushi hitting, of course Momoko ends up smashing a throw into the wall behind Koushi. All these while, Iroha and her brother are watching, observing that Momoko is very strong, and is an obstacle.

At lunch, Iroha is observing Koushi and Momoko again. Looking lovey dovey at first, a closer reveals that Momoko simply plays the role of a pet (they are playing frisbee), similar to the roles of Iroha and her brother.

Suddenly, the frisbee hits Iroha, who falls down to where Koushi and Momoko are. Koushi rushes over to see if she’s alright, but somehow, Iroha ends up falling in love with Koushi.

Turning red, Iroha runs home, where her brother has prepared a pathetic meal of beans on rice, but Iroha declines to eat yet. That night, even as Iroha goes to the public bath, she ends up hearing Momoko’s voice, and realises that Koushi is here too. But the imagination of Koushi naked in the same bath is too much for her, and she runs out, barely dressed. Meeting the same thugs again as earlier, she ends up defeating them all, while not being very dressed.

That night, Iroha enters Koushi’s room to kill him, but just as she stabs her sword forward, Koushi turns his head away. In his dreams, Koushi ends up hugging Iroha very tightly, and spouting love messages like “I fell in love the moment I saw you.” This leaves Iroha totally embarrassed, who slaps Koushi and runs away, declaring to her brother that they’ll go with Plan B with regards to Koushi. In koushi’s room, Momoko is left wondering what happened, seeing Koushi with a slap mark.

And of course, Momoko was the reason why Koushi was uttering all that crap.

Theories of Koushi with secret powers might be correct! Look at how much strength he had to hug Iroha!

Heh, anyway, the humour has me getting excited about Iroha attending Koushi’s school. It’ll be interesting how the three girls compete for Koushi. haha.
