Oops. I’ve been neglecting in reviewing this series. But my opinion is that the anime is really developing and improving with each episode.

I really did love this episode, and it was truely refreshing to see haruhi as a gal. Very pretty in fact. My opinion is that the anime is a lot better when it focuses and revolves around haruhi.

Tamiki’s imagination is perfect. And he really acted like an idiot in front of haruhi’s father. But just as you’re laughing at him, you can’t help liking him either. Lots of story material is fit into this episode, as can be seen by the fact that I got lazy writing the sypnosis. oops. =X But nothing was rushed. And it was really funny.

Just to say again. I do prefer seeing haruhi dressed as a gal. haha.

The anime starts with a visit to Haruhi’s house by the Host Club. Surprisingly, the house is TRUELY rundown. A really poor haruhi appears as the host. She’s poor enough that she has to use bowls and broken cups to serve tea, and together with her dad, starved for 3 days to buy sushi to entertain the guest. Everybody is horrified, and apologises for even coming, but tamaki encourages them not to waste haruhi’s efforts. But even he is traumatised, after haruhi mistakes a normal piece of sushi as ootoro.

But oops. Thankfully for tamaki, it was just a dream. He wakes up in a rush to go to school, insisting on missing breakfast. Only to be told by his housekeeper that he forgot his pants. About to rush out after changing again, his housekeeper tells him it’s sunday and there’s no school. Before he’s dragged off for etiquette course, he makes a call to kyouya.

Going forward, we see a pretty haruhi returning home from shopping, only to see a convoy of expensive cars. It’s the host club, who have turned up in full force, even though tamaki didn’t ask them to come along. But when they started to leave, tamaki asks them to stay.

Haruhi is pissed, especially when tamaki warns the rest not to use any embarrasing terms. But gives in when honey mentions the cakes they brought along.

The twins can’t help making embarrasing remarks, and tamaki ticks them off. But haruhi’s place is actually far from the dream tamaki had. It soon evolves into a full scale game to see who doesn’t embarass haruhi first. As a result, the 3 of them end up holding themselves back, only to see mori, honey, and kyouya getting closer to haruhi and doing they things they wanted to do.

Soon, it’s a shopping trip for ingridients for dinner. But tamaki remains behind to pay respects to haruhi’s mother. Slipping on a banana skin however, tamaki ends up in a compromising postion on top of haruhi, just as her dad returns home.

what later goes on, is you see a cross dressing Ranka (the father) telling his past story, and also interacting with tamaki. For all that he scolds tamaki, the amusing thing is that they are actually very similar.
