If you were a guy, what better way to make girls come hugging you than to tell ghost stories. For the first time, Mizuho encounters the ghost that’s been staying in her room, and the mystery deepens as to why his grandfather had such a strange will.

It’s a stormy night…. Ghost-story telling time! Mariya tries her best, but in the end, Yukari’s the only frightened one. Even as Mariya comments that made-up stories are useless, Kana talks about how there have been rumours of ghost in the dorm. No smoke without fire! Then it is mentioned that it’s weird that only Mizuho’s room faces the north. Mariya reveals that it’s all because it’s a will. Kana is intrigued, and promises to solve the mystery.

All these stories creep Mizuho out in the end. Even in class, Takako notices that Mizuho is worried. Calling her “oneesama”, Takako asks what’s wrong. But when Mizuho shares about ghosts problems, Takako is obviously freaked out as well, and disappears immediately after class ends.

At night, Yukai arrives and asks to sleep with Mizuho, because she’s afraid of Ghost. Of course… Big hoo-haa when Mariya arrives the next morning and finds Yukari sleeping next to Mizuho

Lunch time, Kana arrives with news of what she found out. Seems that Mizuho’s room has been sealed since 22 years ago. Back then, there was a weak/ill underclassman who was in hospital. But she learns that her Onee-sama/the Elder, was graduating and marrying too. Sneaking out of the hospital, she waits at the dorm for her, even though nobody is there as it’s the summer vacation. She waited and waited, before finally passing away.

Back in the room, Kana brings tea, + more news about the ghost, which Mizuho initally refuses to listen. But suddenly, the room starts shaking. Kana mentions the existence of a charm, and searches the closet for it, only to find it torn.

Suddenly the charm glows… and out pops a ghost. Except she doesn’t quite know that she’s a ghost just yet. It’s Ichiko, the girl who died 22 years ago. She mistakes Mizuho for the elder she was waiting for and immediately tackles him onto the bed.

After much explanation, Kana goes back to her room… while Ichiko shares Mizuho’s bed. Yup… Mariya arrives the next morning to find Mizuho sharing his bed with YET ANOTHER girl.

Mizuho’s room is way tooooo pink.

Anyway… I’m glad this isn’t just going to be another Strawberry panic clone. The jokes are back! (could be stronger though)

Yay for Ichiko. THe cutest ghost around who speaks faster than a bullet train. She’s voice by Yuko Goto (Mikuru’s seiyuu) and definitely perked up the episode. Would love to see more of her.

Before this episode, I was wondering if Mizuho’s grandfather went through the same thing, thus subjecting Mizuho to it as well. But seeing Ichiko’s reaction, and the 22 years timeline, I’d have to suspect Mizuho’s father… (maybe all the males!)

Most people are talking about the elder 22 years ago being Mizuho’s mom though… (I still say father…)
