Figurine Sales Everywhere!
For starters, KKnM is having their 6th anniversary sale this weekend, as announced by alafista. 50% off character goods and figurines. They don’t really have much figures, but I’ll pop by to see if there are any character goods to get. Anime house is having 50% discount on DVDs, so the weekend will be a good time to go sunshine plaza.
Rdrake first dropped hints. Riuva then announced massive price cuts. Now I’ve got the date and time! Dropped down to urban attic today and pestered Weiye for the time and date of the sale.
Sunday! He told me he was going to turn up early. But I told him that’s not helpful at all. So he gave me 11am as a time. Riuva should be posting up a pricelist of the massive discounts soon. Here it is. Got a peek at all the discounted figurines and hot damn. I’m definitely going to be there queuing real early. (then again, depends on how lazy I am, but definitely going)
He considered having the sale earlier after I told him about KKnm… haha. But nah… Anyway, it’s alright, KKnM’s focus is more on character goods.
*added* p.s. Weiye told me he had max fac’s haruhi arriving TODAY. (huh!?!) Asked if I wanted one, but said I had one on preorder. Told him Tsubaki would love one though. Arn’t they due out in feb instead? Anyway, he has black bunny haruhi’s arriving tomorrow as well. (I’m not sure if it’s from e2046, his is approximately 30cm, and we concluded should be the same). Gotta catch em all!
Anyway, I was there to pick up 1/6 Saber Holiday version from Urban Attic. Weiye remembers me! After all I’ve only been to urban attic once. He didn’t reply my previous emails either, so I thought he didn’t reserve the saber for me.

You know, I actually fell in love with Saber’s character design BEFORE I actually watched fate stay night. Now I’ve watched it though, and when Weiye offered this figure at a super discounted price of S$48, how I can reject the chance to buy it!
But crap man, what’s with the seams. That’s it. I’m leaving the skirt permanently on.
Another two GLARING problems. What’s with the broken strap on the right leg.
And it might be hard to see, but the left foot is actually NOT touching the base. Which means saber is balancing on one foot. Which means… LEANING.
Like Yo….. What the. Leaning straight out of the box. I’m left with no choice but to pad the left leg with paper.
I guess I can ignore all the defects if I closed one or two eyes. 
Really love the coy expression though and I still love saber. Now waiting for Urban Attic to bring in the white swimsuit Saber which I’m definitely getting.

KKnM has a members only sale today(friday) but the sale is open to public on sat and sun

man… sorry to tell you that you’ve got another bootleg figurine. stop buying from that shop. Good Smile Company is known for their quality. you should suspect that with the cheap sale price, the original is priced above 6000yen (6476 yen at HLJ).
And about the max factory haruhi you mentioned in your post, that one definetely fake, you can find lots of the bootlegged version in ebay US.
