Coscon Costume Masquerade Contest *again*
Second Coscon of the year. Bj0rn says the first one sucked bad. I didn’t go, but I’m inclined to agree… if the quality was anything like cosquest’s.
The highlight of CosCon, where every costumer gets to live his or her dreams. After its well-received debut at WCG 2006 earlier this year, Movie Mania is proud to bring this first-of-its-kind costuming contest once again to the local costuming community. Stand to win amazing prizes from OSIM and Movie Mania.
Some stuff to note… (which might excite some of you). It’s held in the middle of a Big Boyz Toyz exhibition. Infer what you want from the name of the exhibition.
The competition will be held in an area with age limit of 18, due to the fact that alcohol will be served. Big Boyz Bikini Babes, mud wrestling and race queen babes are some of the highlights of the exhibition as well.
There’s a debate in sgcafe about the nature of the event. You can read it for yourself.. I’m lazy to make a long post. But my personal view is cosplay festivals shouldn’t be associated with such exhibitions. And I’ll bet most people won’t take it seriously either.
If you’re wondering… i WON’T be going, my exams are not done by that date. I’ll post up if I see anybody blog about this.
If you are wondering where the anime reviews are… they are non-existent! Fansubs are not out… and my exams start TODAY.
