Love Get Chu! - ep 03
Momoko find a part time job. Basically this episode is about momoko, momoko, momoko, and make 1% of Atari. I hope it doesn’t stay this way for the whole series, because there ARE alot of other characters around.
Back at the hostel that momoko is staying, she is now in charge of gathering everybody for breakfast. In fact, her single “Good morning” is loud enough to break several windows, and city noise laws at the same time. However, momoko notices that Atari did not come home again, but the rest comments that this is something that is fairly common.
Momoko decides to leave at 7:30 in the morning. She basically dreams of getting a front seat in class, and getting loved by the teacher. However, suddenly she’s overtaken by Yurika, who’s basically thinking the same thing. Momoko runs to overtake Yurika, but turns back to see Yurika taking a shortcut through the park. (I was expecting Momoko to reach class breathless. haha)
Going down the stairs, they are overtaken by Tsubasa on skates, who crashes into the bushes when she doesn’t look at where she’s going. Amane then overtakes them in a car, but gets stuck at a traffic light. They all end up fighting to enter the office building, but a calm Rinka gets in first. The fight then goes to the studio door, which promtly breaks under their mishandling. This is when the teacher arrives.
In class, the group is called up for word dictation, but Momoko and Amane are unable to write a single word. Sensei praises them for knowing their weaknesses and having the motivation to work on it though.
At Atari’s office, he is packing to go home for a nap first, before coming back at night. He comments on colleague Kumano’s collection of figurines that has grown. But Atari is not too interested in them, which Kumano claims is because Atari now has a gf.
At the bookstore, Momoko is shopping for books for her dictation, but realises she has no money, even in her bank. Everybody suggests to her about getting a part time job. Back home, Runa suggests to Atari that Momoko can work as the assistant that Atari’s studio is looking for, but he thinks it’ll only end up adding more work to him. But he promises to help momoko look for a job.
Momoko recounts her past work experiences, where she has been fired within a day, due to her obsession with the Skater Love. Momoko ends up choosing a job as a waitress in a main cafe on her own.
Atari is worried for her, and decides to go take a look under disguise. He ends up splurting out the water he is drinking when momoko ends up being the one who serves food to him. Momoko’s guide to being a maid waitress says that after serving the food, her job is to cuddle up to her master and feed him. Of course that’s not what Atari wants. Momoko misunderstands and thinks that Atari refuses because her acting is not good enough, and tries an even cuter routine. Atari refuses again, and ends up spilling food on his pants near his crouch. Momoko wants to clean it up, and Atari ends up accidentally pressing her hand to his crouch, earning a tight slap. This of course gets Momoko fired.
Only now does momoko realise it was atari. Together, they are walking past a figurine shop, where they spot a skater love figurine. This causes Atari to talk about his love for Skater Love too, and about his studio. But he realises that he shouldn’t reveal that his studio did Skater Love. However, Kumano appears at this moment and reveals it all.
They all go to a cafe for a drink, where Atari falls asleep after not sleeping for 4 days. There, Atari gets a call on his phone, asking about the collection he is supposed to bring. But He does not wake up, instead, Momoko answers the phone.
Next moment, Atari finds himself sleeping on the sofa at the studio. His president tells him not to worry about the collection, since they have now hired an assistant. Instead, he gets a big stack of animation, due the next day. The assistant returns with the collection. It’s MOMOKO! As expected, she fouls up the collection, thus the responsibility falls onto Atari, in addition to his animation work.
Thus it’s another day that Atari can’t go home. Back home, Momoko practises her word dictation, but gets it ALL wrong.
Quite a nice episode actually… but I want more on Seiyuu stuff! and more on the other characters! And I guess it’s obviously Atari x Momoko. Would Atari meet the rest??

this show definitely gets better so have faith
however I do warn you that as the series progress the focus basically is Momoko’s career/her relationship with Atari
While the other characters do play roles, they are always support roles and although a few eps do focus on the “theme”
of one of the other characters, its only for an ep or 2 and then from like 12 On it focuses on what i mentioned above
