Kanon – Berceuse
To butcher up the video as I normally do would be a crime.
Maybe I’m a little too sentimental. Such a teary episode. And not even the conclusion.
You know, ever since episode 8, the thought keep staying in my mind about pork buns. About how Yuuichi kept offering Makoto a Pork Bun to get her to do something. Yet in the end, all the Pork Buns in the world wouldn’t be able to save Makoto.
Before watching this, I was wondering, what so special about Air and Kanon. It’s not as if you don’t have anime characters dying in other series. But I think what Key and Kyoani does is to make you totally fall in love with each and every character. You can’t empathize with them, but you definitely do not want to lose them.
Lots of varied expressions from Makoto this episode. How can you NOT love her! Gah!
I thought there were some pretty sweet moments. Like Akiko cooking curry rice so that nobody had to use chopsticks. *sigh* So sweet and so sad. My poor vocabulary does it injustice.
On a cynical note, what did they do to the other characters. No money to pay the seiyuus to voice concurrently. Toei dealt with each arc simultaneously, so how would Kyoani deal with it? You know what I’m hoping… that this means Makoto somehow gets saved and appears in the other arcs. Sadly unlikely.
That’s all I have to say. I think.
Maybe Air and Kanon are special because of the realness of the drama, or more likely, the high quality. I’ve also been wondering, does Makoto die or become a fox again? Mauybe she’ll become a fox and make visits near the end of the series.
Real to me would be like Honey and Clover. Air and Kanon and far from real, yet tugging at every single one of your heart strings.
Maybe a floating fox spirit that sticks with Yuuchi? Like otome. haha…
On a serious note though, it’d be a pity if she doesn’t play a part in other girl’s arcs
