This episode focused on furthering the relationship between mayama, yamada, rika and nomiya. I feel a lot for Yamada. haha. I don’t know why. I guess now, with mayama following rika to spain, it’ll help yamada forget bout Mayama. (which would be such a waste) I guess from her shock reaction at the end of the episode, she does have feelings for nomiya that she does not want to confront. Just my guess though.

I do hope that when rika asked Haruda to wait for her to complete the spain project, she wasn’t thinking of suicide. I wonder if there’s a happy ending to all this. Happy endings would be nice, but life isn’t always that simple is it.

Nomiya indeed is ‘growing up’ too. And while it was a surprise to see him confess, it was a nice touch nonetheless.At one point, Nomiya says that he knew because he’s always been watching her, knowing that she’s always looking towards Mayama. Yet that person she’s in love with is going far away with someone else. Isn’t that always how things are?

Out of nowhere, we see a bunch of unicorns protecting yamada. That was absolutely hilarious. It’s scenes like this that make the anime good. Very sentimental, yet always with that bit of humor to give you that boost.

Nomiya and Yamazaki are in tottori, where they are discussing about their love lives. Nomiya hasn’t contacted yamada, partially because he doesn’t want to hurt her. But yamazaki retorts, asking him why he assumes that he will hurt the one he loves. Later, Nomiya learns from miwako that yamada has been spending time at haruda design.

Back at rika’s office, mayama sees a fax about a job in spain, and confronts rika about it, thinking he’ll be left behind. But Rika says he’ll follow along, since it’s work. All this while, yamada is just watching.

Later, yamada answers the office phone, with Nomiya calling as expected. Yamada tries to talk happily about all that’s going on with her life, but the moment she hangs up the phone, she starts crying. Nomiya understands that she was just pretending, and starts driving back to tokyo immediately.

Back in tokyo, nomiya finds out that miwako had sent yamada to tottori with a parcel, thinking it would help things out. Nomiya has no choice but to turn his car around and headback immediately. Meanwhile, yamada is met by Yamazaki, who tries his best to keep yamada occupied and hold her back until nomiya arrives. When nomiya finally arrives back, he collapses. But not before asking yamada to stay, and holding tightly to her hand.

The next day, they spend time together, before Yamada leaves on the train. But before the train closes, Nomiya blurts out that he likes her.
