Blood+ – ep 35, 36, 37

Saya, Saya, and more Saya! Caught 3 episodes at one go, which more or less is one part of the story. Can’t possibly give a summary for each episode, so I’ll just give a general overview. (sorry, couldn’t resist just posting screencaps of saya)

Ever since Saya came back, she has been trying to isolate herself from people. Kai, Red Shield, and others. But we find out that Saya is really not alone, for she has a lot of people who want to support her, who are her friends. But for their sake, Saya seeks solitude. And she finally realises that she can’t die so early, because she has people to protect.

I especially liked the scene where Saya got invited to a birthday party. It really did show her ‘human’ side, and that she was ‘unredeemable’, but is actually still friendly to people.

Well, I was happy to see the shifu join forces with Saya. But they seem to be playing a very minute role now. I’m not sure if it’s because Saya grew more powerful, or are the shifu/corpse corp not that powerful after all. But it makes me happy anyway. haha.

And I really love the soundtrack. haha.

The Shifu reappear again. And while they see Saya, they did not do anything, commenting that she is not their “hope”. Going back to their hideout, they are attacked by the Corpse Corps, led by James. They are horribly defeated, and Lulu, one of the shifu, runs to Saya to request for help. Saya agrees relunctantly, but by the time she arrives, 2 of the shifu are already dead. As such, only 3 remain.

Karman, one of the remaining shifu, vows to attack Diva the next night. Lulu goes to Saya to request for help again. Saya does not agree this time, obviously showing that she wants to be independent. Before leaving, Lulu requests that Saya be the one that remembers her in her memories. The shifu attacks, but only meets 3 of the Corpse Corps. But they end up being defeated even faster. But in the end, Saya arrives and turns the tide

David is back to normal now, and infiltrates one of the Cinq Flèches labs. He narrowly escapes after being discovered. But before that, he meets Julia, who while doesn’t betray him, shows no sign of leaving either. In the mean time, Saya goes after Diva, but ends up fighting James. At the very last moment, Nathan stops James from killing her.

In the end, Karl disobeying Amshel’s orders, attacks saya with a bunch of Corpse Corps. Big fight. Saya faces karl, while Hagi and the Red shield fight the Corpse Corps, together with the help of the Shifu. But in the end, Solomon aids Saya in killing Karl. And also revealing the whereabouts of Diva.

Heh. I’m definitely not disappointed.
